First day on set.
For the past few weeks Colin and Marco have been spending many evenings planning for the production of their DVD. With the recent arrival of Tristan Siefert (Tris) , their camera man, it is now time to put plans into action.
The team decided to make use of todays light winds to begin filming the on-land footage, to include simulation for the preparation and entry to certain manoeuvres and filming a section on rigging and tuning to get the best out of your equipment.
With Colin and Marco busy perfecting the optimum angles for shooting the on-land simulation scenes, and setting up the windsurf equipment, Tris was busy getting used to the environment and setting up the video camera & performing sound checks.
With the forecast showing strong winds next week the aim is get as much on-land footage covered over the next coupled of days, before the water action begins....
